Venom Ankle Brace Support Sleeve

The minute this ankle brace arrived (on a Sunday!!), I put it on immediately and soon forgot I was wearing it. I felt free again, walking as I once did prior to injuring my ankle over six years ago. This purchase has reinvigorated my life because for the past 2-3 years walking has become increasingly difficult and painful as the condition of my ankle continues to deteriorate. I love the hard side supports, which help to stabilize my ankle. The only downside is that it takes longer than I would like to put it on and remove it, but it is a small inconvenience to pay for the freedom of movement that I now have again. I did purchase another brand (ASO) for comparison, and I do like that brace; however, it does not provide the level of support that the Venom Neoprene does and for that reason alone I would rate the Venom superior to the ASO for my personal needs.

My daughter sprained her ankle pretty badly at a campout. We got x-rays just to make sure it wasn't broken, and her physical therapist suggested getting her an ankle brace to use along with the crutches and for support after she was off the crutches. I searched Amazon, and found your brace. My daughter tried to put it on, and said it didn't fit, however I suggested we wait to try again after the swelling went down. A few days later we tried again, and it fit, and was very easy to lace up and velcro. She can wear her tennis shoe over the brace as well, and she said the brace was very supportive and eased the pain in her foot. I highly recommend this product!

This brace is perfect for my son. He injured his ankle/foot this summer and needs something that stabilizes his ankle while playing football. This is the best brace that we have found that actually works and fits inside his shoes/cleats. In fact, I have bought 2 just to have an extra one. He doesn't even limp when wearing it!! That means a lot to a teenage football mom!

This was exactly what I needed. I had multiple fractures in my foot and ankle. But wearing a boot only complicated things. The weight of it pulled on my knee and the bulkiness of it actually made me fall several times (causing other injuries). I went for over a year with no treatment on my fractures because I thought the boot was the only solution (the only option my doctor presented). This has been a godsend. And in just 3 weeks I can tell a huge difference and know that my foot and ankle are finally healing. It is rigid and gives great support. But it is thin enough to wear inside a lace-up shoe. Another few weeks and I will probably (finally) be healed!

Great support for a 14 yr old elite competitive female soccer player who severely sprained her left ankle. Fits into shoes, including cleats. She's not playing again yet, but she said that it feels so much better with the brace on!!

I ordered this brace for my husband who had back surgery a year ago that left him with nerve damage affecting his lower legs. He has weak ankles that turn easily on uneven terrain, so things that he enjoys like mowing the lawn and gardening have all been difficult. He's tried other braces that haven't worked but this brace from Venom is totally awesome!. It fits him perfectly, gives him the mobility he wants but the support he needs, and he was able to wear it comfortably all day the first time he wore it. Customer Service from Venom has been the best I've ever seen. I don't always take time to fill out these reviews, but our experience with Venom has been so wonderful, I wish I could give them 10 stars!

This could not have possibly shown up at a better time for me-I twisted my ankle in May, and just came off wearing the boot. This lace up support has helped me tremendously. I can control the amount of tightness around my ankle. The fit is top of the line, but my number one concern is that I still have a full range of motion, and Venom delivers. My tendon had really become inflamed according to my ortho doctor, and I needed stabilization not as extreme as the boot, but definitely more than your average ankle brace. I swim, that's my sport, and you can safely wear this ankle brace in the pool. The adjustable factor allows it to fit more than one person in your household. It is breathable and moisture wicking ability helpful in humid conditions. This is so well made, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package, and I should not have been. You will be pleased with the comfortable ankle support and how flexible it feels on your foot, that you will compare other braces to it and find them lacking. Like I said earlier, the timing of this product arriving could not have been better. I do believe you will be extremely pleased with this ankle brace from Venom.

So far so good, comfortable, provides support I need after rupturing my achilles and spraining my ankle. Definitely makes me feel more comfortable wearing the brace.

I am wearing this brace about 7 weeks after surgery and only when driving though once I am released from the velcro boot from the doctor I anticipate wearing this brace daily for a while.
